my oil pressure gauge sometimes worked sometimes didn't so I decided to replace it with a new one
I went to auto parts store and bought a sunpro with plastic or nylon 1/8 inch tubing and fittings
the troubl is none of the fittings will screw into the block where the old line came off, I went back to the store and got what I think will work by using a short piece of copper tubing with fittings to adapt the elbow coming out of the block to the new tubing. anyone had this problem?

I bought the same kind several years ago. Never was able to stop the plastic/nylon leaking. I replaced that crap with copper and no more leaks. My tap was on the engine and had very slow response on the gauge (probably not original). I drilled and tapped a 1/8 pipe thread into the oil filter housing. Works mighty fine. It seems like the hole I plugged was also 1/8 pipe thread. Good luck, Cosmo

Still using original colored/numbered dial on a MF35.
