Tommy, The rebuild went fine - other than some of these nasty leaks. (Smile) It's kind of funny how the rebuild turned into fixing the power steering, the clutch, the lift hydraulics... My water pump started leaking badly because the shaft seal was worn. I couldnt find a replacement pump so I machined a new impeller for the old one such that the hub was a little larger to accommodate a pocket so I could press fit a ceramic seal face. This seems like a better alteration than the original seal to cast iron hub. Ive been watching the temperature closely and so far no problems. This will also make the pump completely fixable in the future since all the parts are now common items. The new shaft seal cost around $12.00 and the impeller was about 1 hour on the lathe and mill. By the way if others have a problem with their pump, a PAC-Seal by Flowserve is an exact replacement and can be had at most pump suppliers as a stock item. Tommy, I could never have done it without your help as well as others on this board. Thanks ever so much!!! Dean, If you want to email a drawing to me that would be great. My email address should be listed with this post. Dean, if we're talking about the same bolts - mine have a wire, which crosses between the two for holding. Are these the bolts you mentioned? Thanks...Mike
