Most likely the fuel is getting in the oil when it by passes the piston on the compression stroke. I just completly rebuilt the engine in my 1100 as diesel in the oil was a problem in that tractor(as well as others). The injection pump and fuel system was remaned prior to overhaul and fuel was still getting into oil. Upon disassembly of the engine I found excessive wear, and in some cases the piston rings were almost entirely gone. Before I rebuilt the tractor it ran fine, and exibited very few signs that the engine was in need rebuilding.

COD I don't understand MY tractor ran fine except every 50 hours youd hafta change the oil cause it was so diluted with diesel fuel that was blowing by the pistons, when I tore the engine down I found bent push rods, worn lifters, extremely worn rings, holes in one piston, and a bent connecting rod. but since the engine has well over 10000 hours on it. From what I could tell before I got it 2 years ago, it only had the head worked on.
