Hi
I trying to find out more about my Massey Pony tractor.
It is serial number PGS 3882
From the data given at this website I can assume my tractor was built in 1949. Here is what I'm wondering. Does anyone have information about the Woodstock factory and possibly the serial numbers used at the end of the run for Woodstock. The fellow I bought it from stated that my tractor was number 11 off the assembly line. I always figured he meant first 11. Now I'm thinking he meant last 11.
Anyway he is gone now and I have to get help from others.
Does anyone know of such records?
Can you help me out?
Also what is meant by 11 and 14 in the serial number data. Is this the horsepower ?
Thanks for your consideration.

My wife, Mary and I are from Faribault, Minnesota. We are members of the Rice County Steam & Gas Engines, INC. in Dundas, Minnesota. Our feature tractor for our 31st ANNUAL fall show of the Rice County Steam & Gas Engines, INC. is the 1949 Massey-Harris Pony tractor and it came all the way from Toronto, Canada. E-mail me before March 10th.
