Buying property and may purchase tractor belonging to owner.

I'm trying to determine it's worth and parts availablity. It has a 3 point hitch and is PTO
capable, but lacks PTO.

Any ideas?

Sure would like to see a photo of the 3 pt hitch, it sure did not come from factory with it.

How do you know it is a MH 203? I might be able to get you a PTO, if a #55 fits. There were approx.3000 #203's built up to 1947. They have a 330 continental engine.Red

Only seen a couple of those puppies and both were at shows up this way. I have heard that they demand a pretty good price although I've never seen one for sale or having been sold. Massey collectors consider them pretty desireable I'd say.

1) Does it run, or real close to running?

2) Do you have uses for it without the PTO?

3) Did you get, or have any implements that you can use with the tractor not requiring the PTO?

4) Do you mind owning an older tractor that you can make "pretty"?

If you answered yes to even one if not all four questions, certainly it is worthwhile. I may be biased, but everyone should have at least one or two tractors, if even their property is only 5 acres (I know of people who have no significant area of land who have at least one.)

It runs, I would use it for pulling i.e. light
logging. I really am wondering if I can get a PTO
for it with some degree of ease, since mowing would be a handy option.

I'm thinking $2500.00 may be worth it if I can get the parts I'm looking for.

It is quite "pretty" I wish I could attach a photo of it to this.
