Massey Harris serial number-what do we have?

We have an old Massey Harris tractor and think it is a 33. We found numbers on the right and left sides...763396 M-2 and 8 27 51. Can anyone tell us what this is or where to look?

Sure it isn't a 1952 44 DRC? Diesel Row Crop

According to the serial no. You should hacve a 1952 Diesel row crop. Tom

Hi,

It's the "DR" that throws me....the "44" means it is a 44. If it is a row crop, it seems to be a 1951...if it's standard it seems to be a 1952. I looked under the Massey Harris serial numbers on this web page.
