Bought these 3 manuals for my MF 35; Parts, Operator, Service. Came from this site and weren"t very good quality. Course the supplier said that and said that if I wasn"t happy to return them. Well a copy of what looks like a copy is better than nothing; price wasn"t all that bad either.

What gripes me is that there is no electrical section. Wanted to fix my fuel gauge and no wiring diagram. So hows a MF service guy to fix a MF electrical problem using his service manual, if there is no electrical section in it?

Mark

I got all 3 manuals for my MF from the local MF dealer. Quality and detail excellent. Price reasonable.

As most on this board suggested, I bought a parts manual from my Massey dealer. The dealer's apparently aren't much better. The quality is as you described on yours. Most part nos. are barely readable. Still better than nothing.

Did you get an electrical section in your "official document"?

Thanks,

Mark

So I guess there is something to that axiom after all: "What goes around, comes around".

Thanks,

It measures 35 ohms. The original is stamped on the face of the gauge with 35 to 200 something. It is 2 terminal.

I have a 3 terminal gauge that is lying around the shop that I was going to install but it requires a ground connection (3rd wire for the bridge) and I don"t know the function if each of the 3 terminals.

Thanks,

Mark

My manual was a copy-not a great one as well...but like you said 99% is there. My problem was I bought it for starter/solenoid problem and it showed the starter/solenoid for Gas and not for the dang diesel!

I kept it becuase it will be useful later but sure was disappointing.

10-4. I was really surprised as they had a lot of detail in what"s covered.

That's nothing - I ordered manuals from this web site and didn't get anything. Then I tried to use the name "tractor dan" that I'd been using for quite some time and they told me I couldn't.
