My 265 MF 3pt hitch lifts but it takes a long time like when your lifting a round bale it can take up to 3 minutes if it lifts at all.It seems to work better when you first start the tractor but after the first 2-3 bales it won't lift.Thought it might be the pump bypassing when the oil gets hot but don't want to take apart if I don't have too.

Hi Randy
Your problem sounds like it could be a weak pump but it could be the master control spring letting draft sensing plunger pull out to far causing it to stop lifting. This problem is quite common on those tractors. I have a picture that shows how to hook a chain to bypass the draft sensing to check if that is your problem. I would sure check it first before I started working on it. If I can be of further help E-mail me.
