Robb,
The first FE35 was built in Oct 1956 and, prior to Nov 1957 were painted grey tinwork and wheels and gold engine and transmission. After Nov they were painted MF Super Red bonnet, seat and fenders, and stoneleigh grey engine and transmission and wheels. All these paints should be available from your local MF dealer.

I have a '64 35X made in England. Most of the pictures of MF35's I see on the net are red with more of a metallic grey (I'm forgetting the term). That is, except the ones on .uk sites. Did the MF's in America and England have different paint? I'd like to paint mine as original when get around to it. Are parts for the UK style bonnet available? I mainly need the lower front panel.

Thanks,

Tony
