Does anyone know how light one could get a 2805 for pulling? I was wondering if 12500 was possible.

Joe

would like to see this pull, where are you from, I ran a 2775 in the field, it had a lot of power, and it did not have the turbo, it weighed 20000 with duals, cast centers , always wanted a 2805 with 24 speed, I did have the 24 spdeed on mine.

I was told if you put on a light front end, take the cab off, take all the three point stuff and the rock shaft out, and put steel rims on it you can get them down to around 9,500 to 10,000 lbs. just from what I have heard, because I'm thinking of doing one too. They can make some pretty awesome power, and they sound so unique pulling with that big V-8.
