MH Clipper Combine Value

Hello! There is a MH Clipper combine sitting in a barn that the owner is willing to sell. It has the normal for a machine that"s been sitting for a few years - dust, flat tires, etc. Not sure if it runs, although I"ve been told it ran well when parked. The goal is to buy it and restore it to operating condition. The question is: what is the value as it sits, as I want to give the owner a fair deal. Thanks for any assistance you can give!

How much is he asking? I'm not sure of the year that this one is, but it's self-propelled with narrow tires in the back that steer by a cable. The head looks like more of a belt with a reel than the newer type. Like I stated, I want to make a deal where both parties feel satisfied, so I'm hoping that you all can give me a rough idea about the value. I know you haven't seen it, and I can't verify that it runs or anything, so very ballpark is fine! Thanks so much for your responses and have a great weekend.

Like the other guy said - You're lucky to have found one. I wouldn't let it get away if it was me.

I'd start out offering him maybe $500 and go from there. Hard to say what it's worth, really. But that's a good starting point.

No, I'm sorry - it is self-propelled with no cab and cable to steer the back wheels. I should have put that in the message earlier! Thanks.

If you pick up this machine and need parts I'll give you a pulltype clipper that has been sitting in my grove for over 46 years. need to get rid of it but don't want to see it go to the scrap yard.

Is it the earlier model with 20" wheels or the later with 7:50 X 20" tires, used to have one and I have some books if you would need a photo copy, I do it at my cost, Lester It has been ages since I saw one and would love to see them at shows
