I have a 69 255 Massey that I have taken out the sleeves and honed the holes to clean them up ready for the new sleeves. I ordered one to be sure of the fit. It came today and to my surprise it slips in and out with relative ease. My experience with dry sleeves is to put them in the freezer overnight and tap them in with a wooden block the next day. I really need some advice and would appreciate any help provided.

You may have honed too much and ruined the block.

We have a Massey 255 that looks the hydraulic fluid has never been changed. It is milky and lots of air bubbles. What is the correct type lubricant and how much?

Small point, in the US the 200 series didn't come out until 1975 or 1976. Regardless, 'maybe' you honed the hole too much and need some type of sealant to hold the sleeve, epoxy or otherwise.
