Guys,
Was wondering if a 72 135 MF would handle a JD 14T bailer. Thanks

I spent many, many hours pulling a JD 14T baler with our TO-35 when I was a kid. We baled so many bales, the bottom of the bale chamber wore through and had to be replaced.

The only problem we had was on hills or on soft ground when pulling a mostly loaded wagon directly attached to the baler. The tractor just didn't have enough weight for that.

I'd suggest keeping the RPMs up on the engine. Run it too slow, and the governor kicks in on every plunger stroke. Really annoying.

Yup. Easily. My MF35 will handle my JD 24T and a much larger Ford 350. The piston on the ligher baler (24T) may "rock you to sleep" as it pumps back and forth, but it's not hurting anything..... ..... .assuming you don't go to sleep and fall off the tractor. Grin.
