Looking at buying a 47 MH 102 senior, tractor is in excellent shape. Just looking for comments about the general feeling about this model and would it be a fair choice for a hobby puller in a 3500lb to 4500lb class.

I have a 102 gs sr standard serial # 363593. I also have the original shipping order from massey , #6485 . Tractor was shipped from Toronto to my father , in Little Britain Ontario , feb 7 1947. Tractor was probably built in 1946 , only a guess.

Maybe check and post the serial number here. I don't think Massey made the Seniors in '47 (the 44's had started up by then). Last 101's in '46 and last 102 in '45 according to a book I've got here. I guess it doesn't really matter. What kind of a price are you having to pay? Is the tin all complete (2 sidepanels on each side)? Good rubber?
