Finally got the stupid thing off, if this doesn't fix my steering problems, I'm going to sell both the 40B and the 1130, Getting very tired of fixing these things, Steering on the 40B simply stinks, and now the 1130 is giving me fits on the fuel system. How expensive is a new or rebuilt injector pump??? Also how much are new or rebuilt injectors??? Would most lilkely need all new injector lines if i have to remove the injectors, not much hope of not breaking the lines when removing???? Not sure if all the work and cost is worth it?????

Injectors about $70 at the dealer.

Pump rebuild, www has great sites; depends on # of cyls, $400-500 reasonable. Some sites will test your injectors free (with pump overhaul). Can't beat a deal like that. If your injectors were ok and you rebuilt the pump, you'd save the cost of the rebuild by not buying new injectors you didn't need.

Are you talking about dismantling the cylinder? If so there is some sort of keeper to remove; could be a snap ring with holes in it, or the wedge shaped kind, or threaded. Then the whole shooting match comes right out. Had a Deere one time that you had to put pressure against the housing to expose the keeper so that you could remove it. Real weird.
