I have a 1965 MF-135 gas continental Z145 with a MF front trip lever loader bucket. The double handled hydraulic control levers located just in front of the seat are really starting to leak hydraulic fluid so I have ordered the O-rings and washer parts to replace them in the controller to hopefully eliminate the leaking. But my question is... Why does the loader seem to work really well when the tractor is first started up and after the tractor warms up sometime the bucket doesn't seem to want to come up, and I've noticed that the 3-pt arms in the back have creeped up to almost all the way up? After I move the 3-pt arms down the front bucket seems to work a little better but not like it is when the tractor is first started. Do the MF135's have hydraulic filters? I've read in the historical posts on this site that it doesn't, but these posts were usually qualified with an "I don't think it does". No-one has said for sure. Has anyone got any ideas as to why the bucket would work so poorly after the tractor warms up? I'm thinking there may be some type of pressure loss since hydraulic fluid leaks out the front of the hydraulic control handles but could that be it? The hydraulic fluid level seems OK. Anyone have any ideas on what I could check?

Hi Otis , The only part of your question I can answer is Our MF 135 has a hyd, trans, diff. filter. It is accessed through the round plate on left side.that holds the pto shift lever. Ours has a wing nut cap with a wire locking the nut on. I have a parts picture of the pump and filter if you want to see it. Ray-s

Ray-s, did you replace the wire on the wing nut after you cleaned your hydraulic filter? I cut the wire to get the filter out and I'm not too sure if its necessary to replace the wire. What do you think? Otis

Ray-s, The picture you were going to post must not have worked on your attempt. Can you please try to post it again? I think there are several folks who could benefit from your information! thanks, Otis

Hey Ray-s, I've tried to find out about the hyd filter myself and have gotten several opinions myself. Woudn't mind seeing the parts picture myself. As usual thanks again for all the helpful info ya'll sent my way.

Hi James, I uploaded the picture of the filter. I think it sits on top of the main pump. Our tractor is a UK model so it might be a little different. Hope it helps. Ray..
