You talking about hydraulics or engine?

High engine oil pressure and machine is not warmed up to operating temp, have been advised that it most likely will drop when operating temp is reached.
Thanks

Just bought a Perkins 3/152. Runs at 60 at room temp this summer with HD 40 oil. At idle it sits on 20 which is yellow.

My gauge is set up like this

5 to 15 red
15 to 30 yellow
30 to 60 green

The colors speak for themselves. I have numerous Fords and they all run 50 to 60 cold. How far they all drop depends on how hard I work them, for how long, and the viscosity of the oil. The Perkins (MF 35) has the most wear and dropped the most hence had to go all the way to HD 40. The rest run nicely on 15w-40. Don't have any 10-30 on the premises.
