Friend of a friend has a TO 30 with loader for sale 200.00 The tractor was running when he bouht it but the trans is locked up in gear. The tractor has now spent a few years out side in the weeds and is missing some of the sheetmetal and the tires are shot. The loader is all steel tube with a pump mounted down in the front that seems to run off the crank pulley. It is all hydraulic not just a trip bucket and the frame serves as the fluid resevior. Take the tractor and run,or keep my money and run?

Buy it and if you change your mind after a while Im sure someone will give you what you payed for it or even a little more. I've come to the concusion any more if a tractor is 500 bucks or less grab it. There has to be something worth saving on it.

The tranny lockup is as close as lifting the top off it (the tranny). Answers in archives. No big deal....Fergies like to do that.

The loader by itself is worth more than that.

Went back today and took a closer look at the tractor. Man people can sure let stuff go. The loader is a Wagner and it also has a Sherman combonation trans. The real problem is that the hydraulic pump, pto and inspection plates are goneand it has plants growing out the holes. Dont get me wrong 200.00 I didnt expect much and im not afraid to get my hands dirty but does this sound more like a parts tractor than a fix and use.
