I agree with george from ontario. The all colour show is on this weekend July 17th & 18th at Country Heritage Park in Milton. The open at 9a.m. and close at 5 p.m. those two days. One of the buildings houses massey harris artifacts and is maintained by our massey club.
Countyry Heritage Parks web site is
www.countryheritagepark.com
Hope this helps. I think I'll be attending this one.

Ken - As your club is looking after the Massey building , I was just wondering if you know what Peter Ledwith is doing these days ? The last time I was talking to him , he was working for a Massey dealer.

Don't know what Peter is up to. Will check with some other club members at our next meeting and get back to you.

Dear Jim :
I am a member of that club as well. Peter Ledwith is now working for the local Massey Dealer in that area. I usually see him at the Farm Machinery Show
in Toronto, in February, at the Massey display. The Dealer is out of Rockwood, Ontario, to the best of my memory . George

Thanks George. If you see Peter , say hello from Big Jim from Fisherville. Peter was in charge when we donated my uncle's 1936 Fordson and Allis United to the Museum. Still burns my rear the way funding of 3 million/year was withdrawn from a museum with that much rural history , yet funding of 50 million/year continues for the R.O.M. with a bunch of old dinosaur bones and a few old drawings.

Message to "Big Jim" at Fisherville - hi, there, Jim. I'm alive and still doing well, working as this thread has indicated at a Massey dealership in Rockwood, not far from my home. I well remember you, Bruce Garber and the two tractors donated to the museum at Milton. I'd be happy to have a discussion off this thread, if you can access my e-mail address somehow through this system without everyone else seeing it! Bye for now, Peter Ledwith, Rockwood, Ontario.

If you ever make it to Alberta there are 2 major ones,Reynolds has a large Transportation section and the 2nd. one is at Westlock,AB,an exclusive tractor museum just opened this year. All colors favored.A lot of private fund raising went into this one and it has been a good job done. Dan in AB

That reference was probably from someone that thinks Eastern Canada stops at the Ontario border ;)
Seriously, Massey was very big in Ontario, and I think I remember reading about a museum somewere there, although I have never had the pleasure or occasion to attend.

MH appears popular in NB also given how many MH show up at the Centreville pull. We were definately east of the Ontario border.

I agree Walt, there seems to be a lot of old Massey Harris stuff around these parts. How were the pulls in Centreville? I have never been to them. I have went to the ones at Woodstock though.

Dear Marlowe : Country Heritage Park (the old Ontario Agricultural Museum ) at Milton Ontario just off Highway 401 has a Massey Building with a number of Massey Tractors, 3 Ferguson Tractors and old Massey Equipment. The Park is open to the Public on weekends. This weekend features an all
colour Tractor show which I hope to attend on Saturday. This is probably what was being refered to.
