I need a new cable for my tractorometer (generator driven MF 65) The nearest MF dealer is 200 miles away. Where can I get a cable?

Try this link:

Cables are $25 Gas or $20 diesel.

Do a search on "tach cable" the 65 was about result 18 and 19.

It didn't specifficly state the 65 but listed the 35, 50, 135, 150 and 165 and these are all in the same family as the 65. I will double check my part manual tonight. to verify they are the same PN.

The local tractor salvage yard carries, or can order most any tractor part from Sparex and receive it in 2-3 days. davistractor.com also has them.

I think what Ray and myself are saying is, that there are several several parts suppliers on the web.

I did yahoo searches like "ferguson tractor parts" to find various dealers and then bookmarked the easy to use sites in a folder I labled as MF part suppliers. (alot of sites are poorly laid out and hard to maneuvor through... I skip these.)

Bottom line... SHOP AROUND!!!! prices vary substantially as do shipping, return policies, and taxes.
