My mf135 with perkins 3-152 has a zenith carb with a electric sol instead of a high speed ajustable needle. It runs fine until it goes under load and then it stumbles and will stall if you don't stop and let it catch up. the dealer says this is the nature of the brute, he says to run it with the choke partly closed. Any one know of a fix?

Sounds to me like there's a blockage in an nozzle/ jet on the high speed circuit. If it runs good with the choke plate partly closed, that means the mixture is too lean, so if there's no adj. screw on the high speed side, then it's starving for gas because of the blockage.
put new kit in it, or make sure all jets are open. hope this helps. Rob
