I have exhaust gaskets blowing out on my super 90 gas tractor. Ive been running it but its been blowing black and soot all over the wireing on that side and the carburator.
I dont know if it effects the carb or not had to have it rebuilt once already.

Should I heat the bolts, studs before I try to loosen them up to get it off or just spray liquid wrench every once at a while and hope for the best?

Penetrating oils such as PB blaster, Liquid Wrench, and Kroil should help loosen the 40 years of rust and dirt around the threads. Judicious of an impact wrench will lessen the chance of twisting them off also. You need a stud socket to fit the stud size. Heating the studs will cause them to expand in size and make removal harder.
