Hi, I have a Massey 40b that has a mind of it's own when it comes to steering, some days it steer's fairly well, others it doesn't seem to want to steer anywhere. How do I bleed the Power Steering? I think it may have an air bubble that is causing this grief!!! Any other ideas would be appreciated also.

Thanks,

Leo

If you have the Perkins engine there is an article on my Massey Ferguson web site that tells how to bleed the air from the system it is the first article on the first page. If you have a Continental engine you cannot fill it with the engine running & you have to put the lid back on the pump every time you fill it but it is bled the same other than that. Another thing that causes those steering system to do that is the piston seals in the cylinders leaking past.
