Dad and I will be back into farming next year our 150 acres and he insists on having a combine instead of hiring it done. I've found a 750 MF with 6 cylinder perkins-no turbo. Includes a 6 row corn head and 13 ft. grain head, all for $3000. What do you guys think?

save your money there junk they will beat there self to death just look at all the ones sitting in yards . If you want a massey look for a 410 or a 510 much better built machines or look for a 6600 deere they last a long time

I'd say if you were in my area ,go for it. We have a good Massey shop with a big boneyard out back. If you have these in your area for any name brand thats what I would look at. Big machine for small acreage is ok. Big used is cheap and will do more between breakdowns.

a lot of combine for 150 acers.the 750 is getting old so make sure you look for ware spots ALL over and the 6cyl is a little short on power in hills and heavy crops. we had one and ran it in the ground. lots of used parts around
