The rear axle seals on my 44 RC have been leaking for awhile. Can these be replaced without pulling the axles? Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. I replaced the differential seals last year and they proved to be tricky.

Seals can be replaced without removing the axles. Clean axle thoroughly and wrap with aluminum foil so the new seal doesn't get caught in the grooves on the axle. With care you can slide the new seal in place.

Thanks I will give it a try. When I replaced the differential seal I ruined a seal before I wrapped the shaft in tape. When I bought a new seal I compared the two that the parts store had. One seal had a wider lip and it went on easier. I figured replacing the axle seal would be about the same, but wanted to hear some words from someone with experience.
