Am looking at buying MF 202 (bull or something like that)It has been repainted, couple of cracks in hydraulic hoses, loader bucket has 3 or 4 eight inch "line welds" where there were/are cracks in bucket being fixed (hidden?). Asking price is $6,000. I am looking to obtain this for some landscaping, tree dragging type stuff to clean up new construction site over maybe 1 to 2 years then resell probably. Am city bred and know *nothing* about tractors. Is six grand a reasonable price for this type thing, or over/under market? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Enging block and serial numbers are 1024942M91 1245.

Richard -

If that's $6000 US, it seems a bit stiff for the unit. You should be able to find something in the $4000-$5000 range I think, if you are not in a rush.

Dan Erni (sp?) has some prices posted on tractor sales; check him out. Should be earlier on this site, or Kate Smalley's ATIS board. If you need links hollar & I'll dig them out.
