What should I know about the 3680 before I buy one. I have 3 1155's and like them.

I have a late model 3680. Has throttle on side console instead of dash, plus some other minor differences. Very user friendly. 16 speed syncromesh shifts easy. Only negative thing I've heard is rearend trouble on ones that have been turned up to 200+ HP. Valmet engine is bullet proof.

The 3680 is an excellent model. It uses a Valmet 452 CID engine. Some of the later Masseys use Valmets as well. Factory rated at 160 PTO HP. Most run between 170-180 PTO HP. I have turned them up to 230 with ease but they burn a lot of fuel at that configuration. They have electronic three point that works slick and good hydraulics.

In case you didn't know: Valmet engines are known today as Sisudiesel. Sisu engines are made in Finland and it is a company owned by Agco.
All biggest (approx.150hp+) Masseys from late 80's has been powered by Valmet/Sisudiesel.
