Hi there

I was just wondering if anyone new if massey still makes tractors and if there is someone who owns the rights to these vehicles. I am working on a T.V. series where we would like to have a Massey tractor in the background, but we would need to get clearance to use it. If anyone know please reply to this message.

Thank you

Crystal

Today Saturday 12/18/2004 I bought a used tractor. I thought it was a Massey Ferguson but the ID plate by the steering wheel says MH 50 SGM 505364. Can anyone help me identify the exact tractor this is so as I can purchase the proper parts and tune up specs?

I have owned a MF for many years. I have a MF 135 we bought new in 1954. I just spent $3,600.00 on it and it really dose not work. The MF dealer dose not even know where the manufacture is located now. If you can find them please call me thanks. 912-691-0408 in Savannah Ga. USA or e-mail me.

I work on old tractors all the time.

is this a gas or diesel motor? This year had problems with the intake manifold with the gas motor. It was very hard to time as well.

Hi,

Also use a MF 35 with the MH!! Nothing says more about dependability and longevity as these legendary tractors from Daniel Massey/Alanson Harris and Harry Ferguson!!

Why would you have to get permission to have an old tractor in the background of a TV series? Do you think that in every TV show that they get permission from all the manufacturers who have cars parked along the street? Maybe I'm wrong but I can't see having to do that.

Use a Massey-Harris and give your project some
creedence. A restored 44 Special, or 444 will add depth and presence to the production. You
don't need permission to include a tractor in
the background of a set.

I think they should use a 444 if the movie includes a bank robbery. The banditos could use it as a dependable (never-fails-to-start) getaway vehicle.
