Hi Fargo -

Solid tractor.

Mfr rating 50 to 53 hp. Aftermarket parts available for the engine and chassis, but you're locked to Massey for the hoe and loader hydraulics, if you have the original 34/54 models. The rotary swing cyl in particular can $$WOW$$ you if it needs guts!

Drop me a note if you have specific questions - I have the service and parts manuals. I've incluided my e-mail address.

Hope this helps!

Thanks.

Is the HP rating gross engine or PTO?

I never had a backhoe. Is the rotary swing cylinder the one that swings the boom from side to side?

Also, it has a quick on backhoe that doesn't attach to the three point but allows you to leave the three point on when the backhoe is on.

Is this a good setup?

Thanks.
