Will a Ford I9-337 front loader bolt on to a Massey Ferguson 135 tractor or are modifications to the loader necessary? If so, what needs to be done to bolt it on?
Many thanks,
Les Lane

Well, the loader is on and it works great! It is not too hard of an installation. The Ford loader is about 3 inches longer than a MF loader so the front mounting plate needs to be stood off by about 3 inches. The rear mounts are a bolt on. The bucket hydraulic controls need to be moved up 6 inches to clear the sheet metal. The drive shaft for the hydrualic pump has to be lengthened by about 7 inches. After all that, it bolts up and works fine. Just need to find a power steering conversion now.

Not a direct bolt-on, but I fit a Ford 701 on my 165.

I used the front bracket from the loader & fabricated a belly bracket for the mid-mounts since the 165 is too long for the loader frame
rear mounts.

Your 135 is pretty close to the same length as the Ford 600-900 series(which your loader was designed for).

Hope this helps,
Jeff

Hi Jeff!
Thanks for the information. I will know in a day or so if it fits directly on or not. The basic measurements say it will but my Fergie has a solid pivot pin for the front axle and I am in the process of replacing it with one with a 1" hole in it and rebushing the front end in the process. Should be ready to fit it up by the weekend though.
Thanks again.
