Hello
Question: Are parts still available for the reverse-o-matic transmission? And how can I tell what year my tractor is? Is the date stamped somewhere on the frame? The S/N is JGA 344064 Maybe someone out there can tell from this number.
Thank you
Wayne

The parts still should be available at your local Massey dealer including torque converter and clutch pack parts.

This is a very common industrial tractor. They are pretty simple to repair. My advise to you if you are having to repair the instant reverse, is to replace the torque converter and front pump as they usually wear out and the pump leaks oil externally. Also replace the clutch packs. Make sure you watch how you install the steel plates in the clutch packs. They are concaved and it is hard to see if you are not looking closely. They all have to be the same direction! Check the clearence on the shafts and bearings. You should do fine. I bet Big Dean has some info on this tractor.
