I have a MHF 35 and want to purchase a manual to rebuild the tractor.

The only number I can find on it is on the side of the main frame as (MHF 182 840 M2).

How do I know what year my tractor is and what manual to purchase?

Sounds like you have a TO35. My TO35 has castings that have "MHF" cast into them. I always assumed the MHF was for Massey Harris Ferguson before the Harris was dropped. Is there no plate screwed on the dash with the serial number?
