Hello from the coast of Maine. For many years, I have owned & used my 1949 Massey Harris Pony...when I bought it, it came with a trailer load of implements that I have never used...this year, I've got the "bug" to see if I can put them to use...I have just serviced my cord saw, & painted it all up....I bolted it on the back of the tractor, but, I am confused because now the tractor can not be used with the saw attached (back of saw scrapes ground)...is there a way to hook one of these on & use the hydraulics to raise & lower it? I also have a complete set of land plows & snow plow that I'd like to paint up this summer & get them on the tractor...mechanically, she's in real good shape. I can email pictures of saw to show anyone who might be more knowledgable the problem I am having.

Josh,
According to my literature, that saw was probably not an original MH offering. It must be that it was homemade and intended to use while stationary. Why not post the pictures on the implement section of this website? You will have many experts looking them over and offering advice that way. With the other implements, most of us can help, or if you're really stuck, implement manuals are available from a fellow in PA. I'll send you his email if needed.
