this is one for big dean and others, who i asked about plumbing the loader up on the 188

well.....to prove to the tractor owner, my grandfather it indeed did have the hi flow pump in the backend i pluged a hose into the flow port on the side of the transmission..... .under the PTO and dumped the oil into the transmission filler hole

so it sat in the shop for another month, he was claiming he didn't know how it worked, and wanted me to be round when the hydraulic man come to plumb it up..... ..so he had to wait till i came off night shift..... .me grandfather sure had his head in the sand on this one!....especially after spending his working carrerr farming with them..... .and he had a later model plumbed up the same way sitting in the shed next door

i had to alter the loader so the hyd bank stayed with the tractor so the constant flow from the pump was bypassed when not in use

so now she is sorted..... ...just the multipower is going out (why they didn't fix it when they had it out on the bench i will never know!)..... ..and there is a hole in the muffler to weld up..... i also shortened the linkages on the throttle, this old girl has done that much work it has slogged the linkages, meaning the ole girl don't rev as hard as it should (but i fixed that!)

but she is a half decent loader tractor, and with the PAVT cast centres on the back, there is a lot of wieght holding her on the ground.....lol.....today we used her to shift pallets of fertiliser, about 2200 pounds in weight!

pudding, whats wrong with your M/P? you also state that the hyd return to trans dump is top of trans top up plug, should have simply run it straight into the dump circuit, it is the port right next to the pressure port yous plugged into on the L/Hand trans side cover, lot neater and less clumsy. good luck!!! sibby.

yes ..... .....sorry that is where we put the dump

nice and tidy

but for me to prove that it worked i plumbed it up out of the delivery into the top of the gearbox to illistrate the oil flow

its a crazy work, to think this old tractor did 6000hours plumbed up the other waY.....

Man what a diff

only problem now is only one remote to the back, it is plumbed up soley for the loader out of the left side, but i am happy just to get the loader done right..... ..lol..... .we got plenty fergusons, we have another we can use if we want more hydraulics out the back

MP..... .slips..... drop the revs and it goes back to low..... ...o well..... .not the first MP we have replaced (we put one in a 285 and one in a 165 as well)

laters
