Finally getting to trouble shooting the fuel system. Cracked the line comming off the lift pump. Turned the engine over and fuel kinda blurps fuel out. Reconnected the line and cracked it at the intake to the fuel filters on the other side of the engine. Not much fuel. Reconnect the line. Turning over the engine for 20 seconds or so a couple of times and both filter bowls are finally filled with fuel. Cracked the intake line to the injector pump, turned the engine over several times and no real amount of fuel.

I guess i need to know how much fuel the lift pump should be delivering.

Thanks for your help.

Kent

kent, take the "top" off the pump, one screw I think, under there is a VERY FINE screen. these will catch any and every thing and starve the lift pump for fuel. blow this out and be sure to get the rubber gasket in place. take the line off of the pump and put your finger over the inlet side of the pump and either turn the engine over or pump the manual lever on the pump and it should suck pretty hard on your finger. the pump should flow enough to make a mess pretty quick. Many filters and lift pumps have been needlessly replaced when the screen is the problem. good luck, david
