It's me again. The angled bracket holding the can, bolts onto the two bolts at the front, left corner of the head. Left as you're sitting in the seat. The outlet (bottom) connection of the can's tube runs back close to the block, down and along the block behind the generator. When it gets to the rear end of the generator, it drops down again to connect on to the fitting on the side of the block. The inlet (top) tube drops down and runs along the block until the back edge, then it crosses to the other side of the block and connects to the fitting on the other side. I've found the NAPA Gold #1010 filter works good. I have pictures if you can tell me where to send.

Nothing in my book would really help. I'll try to take pictures later today. I'll send them direct to you if that would help.

hi guys: theres a pony a few streets over from my place, he's going to sell it this summer, $15.000 canadian, seems like a good price, the pony looks very good i think, runs, he's using it now. the tires are the garden type - you know - like the garden tractors with no traction. will i pay a fortune for regular tractor tires?? great to see some pony boys. i can hardly wate for summer, oh ya, it's about 27 hp, does that sound right? and can it do some grading in the back yard? want to level it off, 1 1/2 acres? thanks kim

kim I'm not sure what it would cost you for tires, the HP on my 51 Pony is 11 or 12.

Thanx, that would help. I have an Operation/Service manual, but no pics of that side of the motor, or how it's hooked in...
