Massey Ferguson 35 high oil pressure problem`

After recently changing the oil ive found that the oil pressure is now very high and stays constantly high when i use the tractor. I used the recommended Duckhams oil for diesel engines. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Sounds like the gauge decided to go south, had this happen one time with a gas tractor. Changed oil and pressure pegged gauge. Changed unit and all returned to normal.

Thanks a lot Garvas. Ill take your advice and try a new gauge. Even tho the gauge is showing a high pressure reading the tractor itself is running as smoothly as it did before the oil change which is pointing towards the gauge being faulty. Once again thanks for responding
