I have used this tractor all winter long to pull wagon loads of wood in and it worked and ran like a charm. Now I need to use it to pull a disc and a loud clunking noise and much vibration is present when I hit rough ground or going up a slight slope. It happens in both high and lo range. I couldn't tell if it is comming from the transmission or the rear end. Any ideas any one?

Kevin, it wouldnt be something silly like your hydraulics are in constant pumping? could be coming from a number of places, hi/low range unit, gear box bearing, gears worn, best to drain oil from transmission into clean container and check for metal shavings. also check epicyclic reduction units oil located inside rear wheels, drain plug located on bottom of unit, try rocking rear wheels in and out to see if any excess movement. hope its not your crown wheel and pinion.good luck.

It might sound a bit obvious, but have you checked the tightness of the wheel-nuts lately? I say that because it happened to me once, and thats what it turned out to be.
