I have an older MF 35, Perkins diesel, that won't start. I've had the injectors checked and they were fine. I'm sure the pump works, because diesel comes from all three lines right at the injector, plus, I hooked up one injector outside the head and it blew a good pattern. It will turn over, but won't start. (Also had the starter rebuilt!)

I found a few drops of antifreeze in the bottom of the oil filter housing. I'm afraid I have a blown head gasket and need to get parts.

Now my problem: I can't seem to find anything to match the numbers on the block to a serial number. All of the numbers I found are listed below:
MON()LY
K25
G 371 11280
CL 1885 954C
H3
CKN 1523
285
Which one is the serial number?
Is there a godd place in the Dallas, Texas area to buy parts?

Thanks in Advance,
Charlie in Sedalia

Hi Charlie

The CL1885954C is the engine number, and it would put your tractor about 1961

As for parts send me an email.

Also, I forgot to ask: Is there anyplace to download schematics and torgue specs for the engine? I'm good a taking things apart, but sometimes have trouble getting it back together.
