The rod has a oil hole on the side. Question, does the hole go towards the cameshalf or away from the camshalf. The manul I have (I&T Shop Service Massey-Ferguson Shop Manual) says it faces away from the camshalf but every machanic I talk to says it faces towards the camshalf. Is there anyboudy out their that knows for sure. I need to get this motor back togeather soon. I can also be reached at 803 806-1485.

The oil hole in the rod goes away from the camshaft side of the engine. I have a Massey Z134 shop manual.
