Just looked at a MF 282 today. The tractor runs excellant and has no leaks at all. Just over 2000 hrs. The guy says he bought it new and kept it in the garage. Looks almost new. Asking 7500.00. The thing that gets me is it has "Made in Mexico" stamped all over it. Can't find much info here, whats the deal with this model?

What part of the country is the 282 in, what is HP?
I am looking at a 261, 53 Hp, only 492 hrs in Okla for $11,000. Is this high or low?

Tom, our old Cat D4 was made in Mexico, best machine we ever owned!! not sure about the M.F. though ,never heard of one made in mexico.
