Hi

I'm preparing to remove the lift cover on my MF-135
I have an engine hoist to lift it gently to investigate IPTO slipping problem.

I would like to know the weight of the cover in order to manipulate it after removal.

Many thanks in advance...

Thanks for informations 0k for 200 lbs
I will be able to put it on the workbench
to inspect it before reinstall. I hope that only IPTO slipping problem is clogged filter
on IPTO pump otherwi$e that mean$ $$$$. There is no multi-power or auxiliary hydraulics just IPTO.

Ok for Big Dean's site I already visit it and
bough Big Dean's CD and appreciate both. By the
way I'm happy to know that Big Dean is back with us on the board

Ok for the pump control lever roller I'm familar with it and I will not forget to remove it prior to lift the cover.

So..... thanks to all for help
greatly appreciated

Just pulled the lift cover off my 165 last week. Didn't weigh it but I would guess close to 200#.
I used engine hoist to remove it, but once I set it on the bed of the mule I could roll it over & block it up by hand. Not easy, but manageable.

If your 135 is similar to the 165, & I think it is, drain oil down to bottom bolt of side cover, remove side cover, reach in & remove contact roller from between pump valve forks BEFORE you start lifting cover off.

Hope this helps.

Jeff

Consult Big Dean's website before even trying to remove the lift cover! There are a few things that will surely break if you try to take the lid off without doing some disassembly thru the side covers first!

Hi

I may missexplained

On my 135 there is an auxiliary (single stage) pump which operates the IPTO clutch.

There is no multi-power There is no auxiliary hydraulic
(double stage pump)system

Hopes it clarifies it for you
