I would like to know the year,HP of my tractor #9A48000.
I also have a couple questions with the MF 235 loader the up & down hyds work good but the tilt{dumping of bucket}is very slow?
I also recently have a leak out of P.S. pump?

The tractor has 4,000 hrs on it and has been completly redone what would it be worth?

Where can i see pictures of the MF 165 or manuals

Any help would be appreciated

Found this in the archives March 99 by ????

My "Nebraska Tractor Tests since 1920" book lists the MF 165 three times. The first test #896 was on a 1965 with a 203.5 CID four cylinder Perkins diesel that produced a max PTO HP of 52.42 @ 2000 rpm. The second test #898 was done in 1965 with a 176 CID four cylinder Continental gas engine and developed a max PTO HP of 46.92 @ 2000 rpm. The third test #1008 was a 1969 using a 121 CID Perkins four cylinder gas engine with a max PTO HP of 51.91 @ 2000 rpm. Hope this helps

Your 165 is a 1968, it was rated at 58.3 hp at 2000 rpm. I'm not sure what the 235 loader looks like, but if it only has one ram in the centre of the bucket they were always slow, if it has two it could be your pump is getting worn, and as for the power steering pump, check the seal and make sure it is not leaking. Your tractor is likely worth about $6500.
