Looking at a Massey 1100, need information and opinions (I don't know alot about Massey):
What are strong points?
Weak points?
Parts availability?
Heard the 1105 is better than 1100...if so, why?
Specifics:
Look at a Massey 1100, with very faded paint, very poor rear rubber, and poor looking seat. Show 6,600 hours and owner says 350 hours on overhaul. Overall the tractor is very straight with very little rust, but needs paint.
Apprecate the responses, as I need to make a decision on this....thanks

I used to run a 1100 for my neighbor when I was a teen. He never had any problems to speak of with the tractor but I would probably be concerned with the Multi-Power given the age of the tractor. If I remember correctly the tractor was rated at 94 horsepower and was a pretty good 4 plow tractor. You might check Kuhns Equipment Company on the internet out of Illinois. They did have some of the earlier Masseys including a couple of 1100's with pictures and prices for comparison.
