OK, I think that I understand how the pushrod side of the rocker arm gets it's oil, but how does the valve and spring side get lubrication??? I just rebuilt the engine in my TO-20 and I'm concerned that it is not oiling the valve side of the rocker arm. Also, what's the general concensus on transmission lube? Will regular 80-90 work? I've seen differing opinions. Thanks all for any info. jeff

I have a TEA-20 and in is equiped with a oil pump in the oil sump. This oil pump sends oil to the head. It is possible that the pump is not working. You would still get some oil up into the head just from pressure differances, but I would recomend cheaking your oil pump.

I don't think that the pushrods are hollow on this engine. I have started it up without the valve cover on and oil comes out around the rockers but none comes out to the spring side. there are no holes in the top of the rockerarms that I can see.

Re: MF35 Dual Clutch (Part 2) in reply to Kris, 03-19-2000 18:06:42
Believe me, it gets to be second nature in a big hurry. If you ever drove something that didn't have live pto (especially on something like a baler) you'll very soon see the advance of that dual clutch. Just push the clutch pedal down halfway and there's no mistake about it.
