Cool. When I was looking a few weeks ago I saw prices all over the place, including the price range CT stated. I went with Mark's theory and paid what I could, and managed to get mine with a back blade and post hole digger for $1500. It smokes from the head gasket area, needs brakes bad, and leaks out the weep hole when in high range, so it does need work. From the replies I got when I was looking at it, I probably got a pretty good deal.

Answer. Whatever you are willing to pay. Very simplistic, but true.

Too many variables to say XYZ is worth $123.

Just like being at an auction....if you walk away with it, it was worth more to you than anyone else..... .....present at the auction.

This site has prices paid by various folks. Just go to Tractor Registry on the left of this screen, select Massey Ferguson, then 35, then select a serial number. In there you will see year purchased and price paid. Look at all of them, then you have to decide. This is only a guide, like Mark said, if the price is right for you, it's a good price. C. T.
p.s. I paid $3,700 USD for my 1964 35 in the spring of 2001, and I am happy.
