When I turn on the gas valve and the motor is not running, the carburator starts pouring gas. If I crank the motor immediately and start using the tractor, it runs ok for about 30 minutes but then starts to die on me. Pulling out the choke helps enough to keep it running. Is the float stuck? Any suggestions appreciated.

I am having simular problem. I think I need to replace the top of my carb, or the whole thing. The Carb is very simple, but I do not know what the large adjustment on the front side of the carb is for. The threads on mine are stripped and the knob just sits there. Any Ideas where I might get one. (a carb) Would like new one!
