I had the same problem. The 165 only puts out 7 gallons/minute with it's internal pump. Where as a JD 4020 has 16gpm. It was cheaper to put a auxillary pump for 18gph($299-new),a 5 gallon oil reserve, a separate gressin spool control($129-new), and hydraulic hose set. A new front pump installed was quoted at >$1000. Considerable savings could be had at a salvage yard. My costs totaled $650 12 years ago when labor at the local shop was <20/hr. It made a good loader out of it.
