In the last month I saw a post on how a 231S would run very rough when it was over 1500 rpm's. The post said there was a very simple fix and gave the name of a shop. I called but the named individual was no longer working there and no one knew about the fix. Does any one know how to fix the missing when the rpm's are over 1500. The tractor only has 150 hours but is out of waranty. Thanks.

I think I read in the archives (if you do a search for this forum and then the entire board) one time that there was a slight problem with that engine that caused the miss. There was a service bulletin for it and the dealer was to fix it.

Good luck,
Bill

Crack an injection line loose one at a time, When you crack the one loose that doesn't cause your tractor to run rougher that is the injector you should pull out and have serviced. That is the start, an injection shop should be abled to tell you if the injector was your problem. Rotary injection pumps don't cause a miss.
