m/f 235 power steering

I have had problems with my 235 m/f power steering leaking around the pump where the steering arms connect.I had the seals replaced,only to leak again.Then the grooves where the snap rings go were machined to allow a larger snap ring.I still have a small leak.Is this fairly normal to have some fluid leaking out.Anyone with similar problems/remedies.

I have a 235 and had the arms machined also. It only works for a short time,( 2 years in my case) before a leak reacures. It is frustrating. With the only alturnative that I know of is to either, replace the whole "badly engineered steering unit" for a kit that as I understand it costs about 1500.00 to 2000.00 dollars,(which is attainable) or just keep replacing the seals and and hope that the arms don't wear down so fast to where you have to get them machined again.But yours is leaking now, as you said. I'm sorry.
